Goodbye

Setting up new lappie
Back in year 1995 I started exploring the technology, from Pentium 3.11 with Windows in DOS, to Windows 95, 98, Millenium Edition, XP, Vista (I skipped this one), to Windows 7 now. In the year 1998 I gone further into exploration of the cyberworld, had gone thru the life of a scriptkid, phisher, hacker, founder, and many more interesting cyber stuff, when I was young. Been active in IRC, ICQ, MSN, Friendster, Facebook, Blogger, and everything else about information technology. I am a machine guy and I can't survive without one. However, today I am tired with all these. I just want to stay with Windows XP that I had been very much familiar with. I don't want to learn new stuff, I am more keen in making money or relaxing myself rather than sitting in front of the PC learning new things. It is a sign of aging, I know. It is just like when you realise partying in a club is too tiring, the smell of whiskey is too disgusting, and you started changing to sit in a lounge enjoying wine or cocktails, same theory applies.
Unfortunately my job doesn't allow me to be lagging behind with the technology. Playing a technical role is to explore the technology and present them to the client in a simple way. A lot of people thinking that it is an easy job having seen that I always work from home. Try it first and you'll know :)
I am still here counting down the days to fly onsite. Revisiting a place that you don't really like is a torture, I wonder what characteristic I'd pick up if they want me to stay over there for half a year or longer. Imagine that being there for 4 months last year already shaped my personality to be much more homely, I wonder what's the impact of this coming trip? I'm already having a feeling of loneliness dilemma prior to the departure. HELP! :(
